My dad complains that we don't have enough photos of Evy smiling, but in our defense, she's a sneaky smiler. She flashes a huge grin at you and if you miss it, you miss it, because in the blink of an eye or shutter lens she can turn to crying, frowning, or laughter.

Random Funny

So, as I'm sure we all know, JN gets a lot of comments on his height. Every so often I'll ask him how many people have asked "How tall are you today?" and very rarely is the answer no one. Yesterday I asked him, and no one had asked, and instead a stranger in the elevator said to him," You must hit your head a lot huh?" to which JN replied, "No, I'm smarter than that." Which apparently really pissed off the fellow elevator rider, because he kept talking saying how he occasionally hit his head etc etc and as JN ducking his head to get off the elevator is exiting, said guy mumbles, I'm smarter than that.
PRICELESS! I love that this man got all huffy over JN's witty comment. I asked him if he smiled or anything and J says that he uses that line frequently and most people smile b/c their question is kind of dumb and forward!
Funny elevator people. This is why we don't like to make small talk.

Green Ick

So I attempted to make a dish out of Desperation Dinners: Mills, Ross.
Didn't go as well as I had hoped. We don't have any meat on hand so I just bs'ed something vegetarian with frozen spinach and while it tasted great, it sure did look bad. Like, I wouldn't eat it if I hadn't been the one making it fugly.
Oh well, I tried something new....and you can't win them all!
